GC-FID measurements for the in-house validation of the method

The simple in-house validation of the developed GC-FID method, based on use of ethanol as an internal standard can be performed on the base of previous measurements made in your laboratory.

When performing measurements according to the official European methods of analysis Commission Regulation (EC) No 2870/2000 of 19 December 2000 laying down Community reference methods for the analysis of spirits drinks or OIV-MA-BS-14 Determination of principal volatile substances you obtain the following data set:

3 chromatograms of the standard solution C (item 5.14.3);

3 chromatograms of 5 standard solutions used to check the linearity of response of FID (item 5.14.6);

6 chromatograms of 2 QC standard solution (item 5.14.7) (3 chromatograms per 1 QC standard solution);

3 chromatograms of an alcoholic drink sample (item 8.1);
